My inverter failed in November 2023 and when my installer called to get a replacement, he discovered that a factory recall had been issued for it, but he was never notified. I am going on my 3rd month now and all SolarEdge can tell me is they are not sure when they can ship it. This morning the agent told me they are doing their best to remedy the situation. If their best is not telling the customer when they can ship my factory recalled inverter after almost 3 months, it appears my $28,000 investment was spent on the wrong company.
UPDATE: the company solved the problem and sent a new product for replacement. the local manager apologized for the delay and taking too long to process the complaint. I take it as a positive that they admitted their mistake. hopefully the product will work as long as possible and any further complaints will be dealt with promptly. The wallcharger was 1 week Ok, Than Ko…since 3 month are we waiting for some Kind of response from solaredge… normal company would change IT immediately with excuses… they dont respond… the Wallcharger is payed and still not working…Reklamation number 4244716, if someone from the company read this… or manager.
I’m now paying MORE for electricity than I was before because I have not received my replacement inverter from Solar Edge, nor given an update on the status. The problem is the inverter installed stopped working and my installers requested a replacement under the Solar Edge warranty. They supplied a UPS tracking number which UPS states the “Investigation Closed” for the lost package. The Inverter was requested by LA Solar Group at the end of August 2023, shipped out on 9/28/23 and now it’s 11/27/23 and I’ve received NOTHING in regards to the actual inverter. Now I’m paying the finance company for Solar Panels that don’t work, as well the an electric bill that has gone way up since my solar panels stopped working. So an overall increase in the cost to power my home. My installers, LA Solar Group, and I have been requesting an update for close to 2 months, and I have not received an acceptable response from Solar Edge on when the Inverter will be delivered . So I’m now I’m paying MORE in regards to powering my home. I guess my next step will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
The app is super easy to navigate. Customer service is typically always a tremendous help. The only bone to pick is.. Although the setapp pairs with most optimizers in the first 300 seconds, no matter the system size it always takes 20-30 minutes to pair with the last 10-15% of optimizers.

My 2 year old HD Wave inverter failed May 2022 and it took 4 months to get it replaced. Here we are 1 year from the installation and my inverter is down again. My system has been down 5 months in the last year and a half. What's that lemon law rule? How about the Magnuson-Moss warranty act? Time to do some reading
