Terrible company with poor customer service and false advertising. Used them for solar loan and was told no interest or payments due until after go live. Only to find out they have been charging daily interest on the full loan balance when they only supplied installer with a quarter of the proceeds. Also paid well over the principle and interest only to be snatched into the interest and no reduction to principle balance.
Just like the others in a long list of victims of scam between Freedom forever and Mosaic. If you read one, you’ve read them all. I’m paying for solar that I never received. I have to pay in order to keep my credit in good standing. It’s a scam… I have made 3 payments in 4 weeks, 2 of which were “past due” One week later, I got another “past due” bill that is double the previous amounts.
This company has wasted so much of my time. They took months to cancel my loan and then threatened to harm my credit if I didn't make the payments even after they said the loan was canceled also beware if they cancel your loan it takes 30 to 45 days even after the loan is canceled. They are just trying to steal your money and the customer service is absolutely the worst
After I made two payments of the loan, and I don't see my principal payment is reducing. So I called Mosaic, I was told that the payments that I made are only for interest, my loan will not reduce the principal until the 5th or 6th payments. I reviewed my contract, and the closing certificate, it didn't specific in the contract. It only tells me the monthly payment. This is really misleading customers to the point I think this is not honest. I will never recommend anyone to use this company. Scam...... Never use this company. Called the customer services and they told me nothing they can do....... What a company! Thank you...... I learned my big lesson. Also, I have been told to get .25% interest discount on my interest rate if I do an ACH every month, but they still calculate my interest with original interest rate. A dishonest company.
They set you up to fail. They start collecting interest on your loan the day you sign up and don’t start making you start paying until four months later. By then you’re so buried in interest you have to pay that off before being able to pay down the loan. They set up your monthly payments so low it does even cover the interest. So now you have a loan that keeps getting higher and higher and no hope of ever being able to pay it off. Customer service was awful. No help, no explanation. Just too bad, so sad.
Lender Mosaic has been asking me to pay down a $65K loan in connection with a residential rooftop solar project that was planned but cancelled by the residential solar installation company Freedom Forever in August 2022 (almost 1.5 years ago). I have spent many hours on the phone with each company who has blamed the other company for holding up the loan cancellation process. Meanwhile, my FICO score is at risk because of a breakdown in their installer-lender partnership. I emailed the Mosaic CEO last week for help and received no response. This is illegal and unacceptable and seems to be a repeated behavior based on other reviews.
